The Red Door

Well, we are off and running so to speak, with training up the next generation to participate in what God has called them to do.
This fall has been a training time for many involved. Following are a few examples.
We have 4 great worship teams that all have very different styles of worship and have implemented what they learned through their first worship seminar – of which we are now the benefactors of. Three of the four teams now play on Sunday mornings – the fulfillment of the vision God gave us for raising up these leaders. A huge thank-you to Pastor Barry for coming to share with our leaders in our first Worship Seminar. For those leaders who were unable to attend the seminar (from any of the services at Northside) there is a DVD of the evening that you can obtain from Linda Kennedy through the Coquitlam office.
I have just concluded a brief overview of the book of Revelation in an effort to prepare us for the next level – Evangelism. The New Year will focus on the Disciple Generation by telling the “Stories of the Bible” and engaging them in the lives of the characters from these stories. For those who have never heard the gospel, they don’t know about Adam and Eve or Noah and the Ark or King David or even the virgin birth of Christ. They will be able to come and hear about them and learn how their life stories of faith are similar to our own. Basic in some ways but filled with lots of meat for the mature believer as well.
We would like to invite everyone to come and check out The Red Door and share in a time of extended worship, to hear inspiring testimonies of faith, and to engage in life lessons from the word.
Some come once in awhile because their schedules restrict them from attending on a Sunday morning. Some come and call it home. We look forward to seeing you out no matter what the reason.
Coffee is on at 6pm for those who would like to come and fellowship before hand. Worship starts at 6:30 and we usually finish up no later than 8:30.
